uka british fell and hill relay championship 2017 sunday 15th october 2017 - llanberis the uka british fell and hill relay championship 2017 is to be hosted by eryri harriers . eryri harriers extend a warm welcome to competitors, families and supporters visiting llanberis for this event. mae rhedwyr eryri yn estyn croeso cynnes i gystadleuwyr, teuluoedd a chefnogwyr sy'n ymweld a llanberis ar gyfer yr achlysur. 2017 final results updated 22/10/17 - 19:00 overall results, leg results and split times are available from the racetek website. select the "relay results", "relay leg results" and "relay splits" tabs as appropriate. on the "relay splits" page you need to press the "show splits" button to view the split times for the selected leg. navigation leg statement dear all, i can't believe a week has passed since the relays 2017! we are now ready to publish the splits for the event, so please follow the link above. we are aware of some of the issues raised particularly around leg 3 and in particular cp2 to cp3. as the organising team we felt that we had taken reasonable measures to avoid this situation by stating at registration and the race briefing that walls/fences should not be climbed and crossing points should be used. unfortunately, that message wasn't clear enough and in hindsight we should have taken greater measures to try and avert this situation. a number of solutions have been put forward and these have all been noted and should we organise the relays in future we will endeavour to ensure there is no repeat. we acknowledge that there were a couple of other areas where we could have sharpened up with our instructions and have a better understanding of how maps are going to be read in the heat of racing. following a number of discussions with the race referee on the day it was concluded that the race results would stand as published. in places there are some missed checkpoint times. we have looked through all the times and leg splits and concluded that the most likely explanation is that in the heat of racing the tag wasn't correctly registered. these results will stand also. we sincerely hope that these issues didn't overly affect your enjoyment of the day which on the whole has been received very well. moving forward hopefully we can ensure in future years we learn and deploy additional measures, particularly to leg 3, which would avoid these situations occurring. many thanks for your understanding. regards, stuart eryri harriers final details final details - please ensure that all runners read the final details (v1.3 updated 26/09/17). online team declaration - please declare your 6 runners per team asap using the fabian4 amend entry function. you will need the dob of all 6 runners. you will be able to make amendments to your declaration online up until midnight on thursday 12 th october. we will assume that any team failing to fully declare online by the cut-off time will not be turning up and all such teams will be removed from the start list. disclaimer / emergency contact details form - team captains - please print and complete the disclaimer form and bring with you to registration. registration - this will take place at the event centre during 2 sessions: 14:00 - 17:00 on saturday 14th october 07:30 - 09:00 on the morning of the event only 1 member of each team needs to attend registration, but must bring the completed disclaimer form (above). rules the event rules are available here .
